OSC Pro founders promise
A lifetime license that stays a lifetime license.
The rights included at purchase are preserved. Later pricing, subscription, or upgrade-policy changes do not reduce a valid founders lifetime entitlement.
License rights
- Perpetual use of OSC Pro with no recurring license fee.
- One active Windows PC per purchased seat at a time.
- Unlimited legitimate transfers to replacement computers.
- Self-service deactivation, with support-assisted resets when the prior device is unavailable.
- Lifetime OSC Pro updates and future OSC Pro versions for as long as HashMo distributes OSC Pro.
- Permanent grandfathering of the purchase-time entitlement.
How activation works
- Purchase OSC Pro and receive a unique license key.
- OSC verifies the purchase and binds each seat to one active Windows device using a secure device key.
- During the initial refund-protection period, occasional silent validation checks may occur.
- After the provisional period, a non-expiring signed offline activation certificate is issued.
- The activated copy continues to work offline without recurring payments or routine license validation.
Device transfers
A seat is not permanently trapped on the first computer. Deactivate the previous installation and activate the replacement. When the old PC is lost, stolen, damaged, or otherwise unavailable, HashMo can perform a support-assisted activation reset.
Copying the installer does not create another licensed seat. The purchased seat count controls simultaneous active computers.
Not included
- Additional device seats beyond the purchased tier.
- Third-party model, API, storage, or service fees.
- HashMo-hosted cloud services unless explicitly included.
- OSC Enterprise or unrelated future HashMo products.
- Support beyond the period stated for the purchased tier.
Refunds, disputes, and continuity
Refunded, disputed, or chargebacked purchases may lose activation eligibility during the provisional validation period. Valid, completed purchases retain the lifetime rights described above.
After the provisional period, the signed offline certificate is designed so a legitimate activated customer is not dependent on HashMo's licensing service every time OSC starts. Temporary server outages, infrastructure changes, or a future licensing-service migration should not disable an already valid permanent activation.
